With regards to the Discord link I looked at the channel and it nothing close to what I was expecting to the point that its basically just a lego fan channel more than anything and its not even correctly set up to the point that new users enter the Lego universe discussion page so clearly not well made either.

I am a fan of LU and will always be but I will not mindlessly follow a project that is full of jokers who are playing at being a game dev who arent even capable of keeping an active twitter profile.ĭo not waste your time expecting DLU to finish or even get to a playable state. I will never change my mind because the evidence is there that they don't intend to put any serious work into DLU and for you to say im wrong even with Admin/Devs saying its a hobby and the so called * Closed beta* being dangled infront of you poor suckers faces since 2018 is just mind boggling. I am not entirely sure where you think im discrediting their research because research is shared between all of the different dev groups and DLU especially took someone elses build off of them because they gave up as they had no time to do it SO to give them credit for solely sourcing their info is just wrong on many levels.

To the point that at one stage one of the co developers was trying to get another server to team up as they didnt really want to spend time doing it.ĭLU will never finish the game and I stand by that maybe LCDRU will finish it who knows but my reasons for saying that DLU will never finish isn't due to software developement or the devs putting in loads of work because for DLU its the polar opposite.ĭLU devs are all very open in that they spend very little time working on it and that its more of a hobby rather than an actual developement project and it shows. I should point out that Darkflame has about 7-9 developers/coders who all have said that they are treating it as a hobby and none of them are dedicated to seeing it up and running anytime soon. It would be great to play this game again but I don't see it happening with Darkflame universe atleast because they themself have said its just a side hobby and have no dedicated members so it could be another 5 -10 years before they fully release as its been 4-5 already and its in alpha.īest bet is just to try and move on and find a new game or hope that a more active dedicated server group take up the task and try and smash out some playable form of LU. So people tend to mention Darkflame because its the only server around at this point that isnt dead but they have been going at for a LOOOONG time now and barely talk to their community unless its a 2 sentence twitter post.
